Architecture, fine art and design under one roof – this is the exhibition of young art Pokoje (Rooms). Every year, the showcase of the work of art students from art schools from all over the Czech Republic brings to life houses in the centre of Prague, for which the participants always create their own specific art projects. Pokoje (Rooms) is also a unique nationwide meeting that initiates an exchange of ideas and approaches of emerging artists. The event is organized by Containall o.p.s. Containall is a non-profit company that runs two seasonal cultural centres: the Stalin on Letná and Containall created from a shipping container located in Stromovka Park. Seasonal activities of Containall o.p.s. and one-off exhibitions such as Rooms have been expanding the cultural offer in the capital since 2013.
This year, we are preparing the current edition for you, set to kick off this autumn with financial support from the Visegrad Fund, the City of Prague’s Magistrate, and the Ministry of Culture.
